People, the environment and a healthy company balance sheet are Zwingrow's core values. The concern for the environment is reflected in, among other things, the use of biological crop protection, the use of a sustainable environmentally friendly growing medium, the separate disposal of all residues for reuse and participation in OCAP, where CO2 waste from the Europoort is used as foliar fertilizer. From 2012, Zwingrow has been using geothermal energy to heat the green label greenhouse. To promote geothermal energy in the Netherlands, Zwingrow is a member of the Geothermal Energy Platform, where knowledge is exchanged and a lot is invested in research and development of geothermal energy. Zwingrow is also a member of the DAGO (Dutch Association Geothermal Operators), all owners of individual Dutch geothermal installations are affiliated to this.

Zwingrow employs full-time, part-time employees, students, freelancers and temporary workers. A long-term employment relationship and a good working atmosphere are important here. The wishes of the employees with regard to the desired work interpretation and working time are taken into account as much as possible. If desired, employees can participate in external education and training courses. Various courses are organized internally, including Dutch courses for temporary workers and biological crop protection for all employees.

Zwingrow wants to be involved in society. Doing business honestly and openly with suppliers and customers is of great importance to Zwingrow. Zwingrow has opened the company to Kom in de Kas. Various associations and charities are also supported.
